Comparative Adjectives

A comparative adjective is a word used to tell apart two nouns with respect to an identifying characteristic or attribute. The comparative adjective helps to identify which of the two nouns possesses more of the quality or identifying characteristic.  When comparing two nouns the word than often follows the comparative form of the adjective and introduces the second piece of the comparison.
